Learn what an authentication certificate contains and how to look it up using its number or QR code.
Expert human authentication, system-issued certificate
A certificate is issued when an item is judged authentic and meets the issuance requirements. It records the product information and authentication content at the time of issuance.
What the certificate contains
Check the certificate number, issuer, issue date, brand, category, product information and authentication content. The fields shown depend on the actual certificate.
Look up a certificate
- Scan the QR code on the certificate, or open the certificate lookup page.
- Enter the certificate number and compare the displayed number and product information.
- Check its current status, including whether it is valid or void. Contact the operator if anything is unclear.
About the public photo
The public lookup page shows one product photo selected by the authenticator. Other submitted authentication photos and internal notes are not published.
Reissuance and certificate status
A certificate may be voided or replaced by one with a new number. Check its current status on the lookup page rather than relying only on an image or PDF.
